Lab doggy door

Hey everybody I’m putting the finishing details on my new lab and my question is about the exhaust/air exit, my lab is 5’ wide 10’ long and 7’ tall, I have a 3’ x 4’ myers flowhood 1,000 cfm along the 5’ side that is backed into a prefilter room, so the flowhood is positively pressurizing, my question is where is best to put the doggy door exhaust hole, and how big to make it, here’s a pic for help I’m wondering back wall or side wall near the back corner and size 🙏

Hi. Is anyone grown the purple mukitake yet? I was given some blocks to fruit out.  They had a top "fluff" similar looking to maybe Pioppinos.  I just sent them.

A- do they taste good?

B- is it common for this to fully colonize substrate quicker than Oysters?

I had to bust so much ass leading up to this and I made a lot of grow blocks. The breaks on my car were so bad I probably broke glass from the screeching.....set up the tent, go back home and fix the breaks. Day 1 -Met countless people asking me why their NorthSpore grow blocks didn't work, lol I said you need Cap n Stem genetics, love in your heart + a shit load of FAE. Got to hold the most precious cactus on the planet which was the highlight of a LIFETIME for me (a forever tripping hippie unfortunately). The Chesnut spores were KILLING me. I forgot my blanket and like Jesus christ that camping lawn was pretty hard. I figured out I am too big to sleep in a 1 man tent made in china. Gordon frigging Walker stop by the NH Mush Co tent and held my Mushroom,  lol. It was awesome to meet him,  I wish I wasn't like so shy a person but I got to chat with him a bit and it was great.  Saw Alan Rockefeller like just walking off alone and I was like..."OH shit that's Alan Rockefeller.  Ok cool 👌" . I brought really good green bud and hash so I was really happy the whole time. Schooled many on how Cubes are like a PBR and ought to try some fine wine like a truffle. Sold like Not a lot but I made some cash and made my rent so it was 100% wicked good. Every block I made that I didn't sell (PoCho/AAcns/HEcns) Ive since been fruiting and All of em made it home fine so really no loss. The Pioppinos are ALL pinning hard af right now and they are so cool. I've never eaten one yet so I'm stoked.  All and All it was something to remember for me and it was great to be a part of the Psychedelic Movement that was there. Live Free Or Die.

Any tips on lowering the temperature inside of grow tents? In the winter temps are perfect inside of my garage, however with summer now starting to take effect my grow environments have been sitting at 70-75F. 

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure this is a dumb question but I've been trying to narrow down the variables that could be causing trich contaims in my spawn jars/bags and germination of my oats. I've watched your video on grain hydration and still have a couple questions if you guys have some free time. 

Right now run a steam pasteurization barrel on a 24hr, 200f cycle. However after watching your video am wondering if dry bagging my oats in both bags and jars being paired with steam pasteurization is what is problematic. Is there a better way I could still keep using my pasteurization barrel to maintain bulk? I can soak and boil on the stove but it won't nearly be as efficient of a process.

Isopropyl fumes are killing me I moved to a small lab 7’x9’ and it’s just recirculating air with a 3’x 4’ flowhood from myers mushrooms, I spray a lot of 70% iso and these last few weeks my throat and lungs are sore and irritated, I’m thinking to try to positive pressurize the lab by putting a hole in the wall and backing the prefilter from the flowhood thru it(maybe a grow tent on the prefilter side to create a “pre conditioning room” and run an air purifier in there too)and cutting a small doggy door hole low in the opposite corner in the lab to let air out, do you think that will get the iso fumes out of there? Until I do that I’m getting a respirator with organic vapor cartridges cuz it’s really hurting, any advice would be much appreciated 🙏

Photo is to catch your eye! Did you know if you pasteurize dry substrate (combo pellets or otherwise) you can then add UV treated water to the bag in the lab, spawn and set to incubate!? Can you guess which block is hydrated with UV and which is hydrated before the cook?

I planning my escape from 10x10 Tentville and want to build a freestanding, insulated fruiting room. Thinking roughly 12x24 on a concrete slab with a couple of trench drains but I don't know what material I should use to construct the walls and roof. Wood frame?
