tyvek suits

Hey do y’all reuse and wash your tyvek suits for lab work? If so any special sanitizer or bleach? They say single use but I’m thinking I can wash them?

Scoop out 10 jars of Oats into the pot wanting like at least 10lbs of grains cooked. A jar is almost 1lb dry every time. 12 hr Soak&simmer in good water w/gypsum.  Ended with (16lb soaked & simmered+ dried all day and bagged Grains).

-3 four pound bags and 2 two lb bags. Incredible Math that I'd never know how to consider but that's pretty damn perfect 62% grain hydration right there.

10 = 16 - 62% = 6.08 = the H2O

Hello everyone! 🍄
I’ve just finalized design for a new mushroom cultivation space and would love to hear your thoughts. The main idea is to use the attic as a plenum to distribute air via ducts to other parts of the space (incubation, fruiting, etc.).

📌 I’m curious about:

  1. Is this system efficient for even air distribution?

  2. Is using the attic as a plenum the optimal solution, or is there a better alternative?

  3. Do you have advice for improving ventilation/structure?

PS. Im not good at drawing 🤣

Been a while and I probably need to catch up on the threads.  I was wondering if y’all had any background info on the JC shiitake we got recently? Media it likes, moisture content, where it came from or strong suits…?? We’ve been calling it the Jesus strain and nobody fucks with the Jesus!

Also any chance we could get y’all’s Maitake and Black king oyster in the culture club soon?!  I’ve tried a number of maitake strains and I think all Of mine suck. I even stole one from earthfare haha. I’ve tried them in bag fruiting like your over production drying video both in A and horizontal filters with nothing like what y’all got!  Great video!!!!!

My BKs are cut and BS as well. Y’all cultures knock the shit I have out of the park!

The water treatment was due for me.  Chesnuts seem to do well no matter what.  Upon cleaning my huge tub of water I noticed the UV light stopped working.  Not sure when. Cleaned all parts pretty well and bought 25 gallons of distilled h2o looking like the crazy dude at market basket.  Should be good for this month until I get a water treatment filter apparatus. Rocking well water and oysters seem to not like it whatsoever

Culture club question: has anyone received any of their culture clubs shipments? I paid my $295 subscription fee back in September and haven’t received anything. I love the videos and I’m happy to support all the content, but I was really hoping to get some cool cultures

Snow white oyster. These are awesome.  I had a feeling people would like them at least around here being White and pleasant looking as most are used to buttons.  Harvested a couple blocks so not a lot of weight.  They sold at the farmers market within an hour. Bank account from zero to enough for the whole work week quick. Very cool mushroom.

Hi everyone! First post on here for me, but huge fan from the podcasts to the deepdives and the broadcasts! I'm in France wich means soyhulls are not really an option for me since we grow next to no soy in France. But they import soybeans from all around the world to extract the oil so i can get my hands on the waste product of that witch is the hulls plus the crushed/extracted beans. So my question is would that still be usable as a supplement but in a lower %, Or is would it just be to nutriënt dense? Thank u guys for all the help and info you provide, you have literally saved my farm a year ago, and i'm shure many many other farms!  Have a good one!
