I was thinking of insulating the attic well and introducing fresh air and then sending that same air to the incubation and fruiting rooms. I was also thinking of adding a separate fan for each fruitingroom that would additionally extract CO2 and make small holes on the sides where fresh air would enter and thus have negative pressure inside. I don't know how it would work, I would like to hear other people's opinions.

Hello everyone! šŸ„
Iā€™ve just finalizedĀ design for a new mushroom cultivation space and would love to hear your thoughts. The main idea is to use the attic as a plenum to distribute air via ducts to other parts of the space (incubation, fruiting, etc.).

šŸ“Œ Iā€™m curious about:

  1. Is this system efficient for even air distribution?

  2. Is using the attic as a plenum the optimal solution, or is there a better alternative?

  3. Do you have advice for improving ventilation/structure?

PS. Im not good at drawing šŸ¤£

For now, Iā€™m using a standard magnetic stirrer for liquid cultures, but all the parts for building an aerated LC system are on the way. Iā€™ve also experimented with recipes that use 1% nutrients on agar, and Iā€™ve noticed the mycelium can shift from tomentose to rhizomorphic growth when I prepare it that way. I havenā€™t reached the fruiting stage yet, but Iā€™m really curious to see if this approach will result in a higher or lower yield.

"Hi everyone!

Iā€™d like to hear your opinions and experiences: Is it better to use more or less nutrients in liquid culture and agar? How can this affect the subsequent growth of mycelium and fruiting bodies? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using higher or lower nutrient concentrations in these media? Thanks in advance for your responses!"

I'm planing to build a new laboratory with 2 Fan Filter units 4x4 feet's. I wann have positive pressure system inside like you guys have in one of podcast. Here I'm sending my poor picture how is should look a like. First room is Lab, second is mixing/cooking area for grain spawn and third is like halfway. On picture you can see what are dimensions of all 3 spaces. I don't have a lot od space to build a plenum so I was thinking to just add some fan with filters that will blow air inside of lab but not too strong so I don't get turbulent air in front of my floowhoods. How can I calculate how strong fan I need for that?

Ivan Mikic I Found them but still im confused about working temp..

I found on most of the that they are working between 45-55Ā°C. Did you made some changes/hacks to rise that? Can't open those link, I'm in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Hello mush community! I just saw the episode Steam Generation and I was wondering can someone put the link of that Chinese steam generator that Erik was showing because everything that I found is not as cheap as he mentioned in this episode?
