Quat Cleaner, hypochlorus acid, anybody use these to clean/sanitize things? Currently only using 70% iso for working and bleach for deep cleaning

Hypochlorus Acid is another cleaner I see people talking about, right now I just deep clean with bleach and use 70% iso with everything  I’m actively working with, but interested in perspectives on these other options, the iso fumes have been bugging me, and apparently Quat doesn’t have fumes and isn’t flammable

Sean M but I don’t plan on returning the air back to the prefilter room

I’m using this lab for everything, so culture work also, is there anything i should set up differently because of that? I’m not doing super large scale, but I know ideally having 2 labs would be better, it’s all coroplast and was planning on keeping it really clean

Lab doggy door

Hey everybody I’m putting the finishing details on my new lab and my question is about the exhaust/air exit, my lab is 5’ wide 10’ long and 7’ tall, I have a 3’ x 4’ myers flowhood 1,000 cfm along the 5’ side that is backed into a prefilter room, so the flowhood is positively pressurizing, my question is where is best to put the doggy door exhaust hole, and how big to make it, here’s a pic for help I’m wondering back wall or side wall near the back corner and size 🙏

Hell yeah!! Love everything about this post!!

Tyler Hell yeah thank you!!🙏 I’ll snap some pics when I get it all done

Tyler Hey Tyler I’m also building a lab and spawn/sub incubation and fruit rooms, I’m going to use Coroplast for the walls but instead of steel studs do the framing with 1inch PVC pipe, do you think the pvc will pose any contam issue? I figured it’s gotta be better than wood and will all be outside the rooms so just coroplast and 3m all weather flashing tape on all the cracks
