Does the community have a Discord?

Thanks Eric for all the great info on shiitakes with the new episode and deep dive.  Anyone having much luck with shiitakes on masters mix, if so what strain? 

It sure would be easy for my production system and bagger.

I thought it was interesting the ultra pasteurizing not being enough and explaining the duds.  

I did some autoclave bran experiments yesterday but I didn't have much luck with that when I first started.  Seems like 20% bran is crazy... is that for midds? Trad talked about 1/2 cup per 5lb... generally speaking...

Is it weird to ask suppliers where their strains come from or are?  I have two from NS, and about 7 others that have come my way.  I worry they might all be 3790, which I have for sure and 3782 which I don't know if I have or not... or junk...

Eric, I'm definitely down for Shiitake this winter, or Bears Head or any good winter producers!

Hey everyone! I'm new to this group and happy to be here learning! I was watching the HART/POLA video and you mentioned a list and diagram for the whole setup. Where can we find that info?

I'm just curious when you guys ship the culture and is there a way I can find out what culture I'm going to get?

1:05 Insane in the incubation... Al dente could mean perfect, but it translates as "to the tooth". As in its tender but not mushy to the tooth. On a side note, apparently tigers have such sensitive nerves in their fangs that they can actually feel when they've hit the jugular while taking down prey. Al dente indeed! Great episode guys, thanks for the insight:)

Finally got a decent lions mane growing. Always fruited too much on grain but I got it right this time.  Apartment temp set to 66° 🤘

Question on the culture club stuff -do you guys send out any kind of email or just like mail out a plate?  My mailroom kind of sucks if I don't know stuff is on the way. I'd hate to have a plate sitting there too long
