Howdy everyone it’s been a while to hit up the community but I would love some info and experience on Nebrodini.

Everything has gone well from LC-bulk masters but I’ve never gotten them to fruit. When we were knocking a lot of them we were primarily letting oysters pin in the bag before opening. They never did. I tried top, side and other things with temps bc of the transition to winter. The only thing I just realized I haven’t done is open them up right at full colonization.  Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

Hey Y'all. Happy new year!
I thought I might share this article of a sweet initiative that is growing from the decomposition and repurposing (and reappropriation) a large agaricus farm, including training the majority immigrant workers from the old farm, to form a cooperative exotics farm owned by seven Mexican and Guatemalan immigrant families. It's cool to see the previous workers taking ownership of the "means of production" with the hope of creating a better working environment and offer opportunities for others to grow and benefit together, rather than be exploited migrant labor. A hopeful story to inspire us with alternatives and possibilities to start the year.  A farm to keep on our radar to support in any way.

 Beech Mushroom

Hey guys! Just got a bag of capnstems beech mushroom spawn. I’ve never grown beech before.. I have a chef that is wanting to get some from us. I’m curious if anyone here grows it? I would like to know incubation time, and fruiting times on these guys!

I'm having some fruiting issues. My oyster sawdust bags are full colonized, the grow-room is at 60 F, humidity at 85%, CO2 is at 600ppm and, I have Lions Mane in the same room that is doing fine. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi I just finished a round of blue Oysters. The mushrooms turned out pretty nice but at the bases there seems to be a bunch of aborting pins. What causes this? See attached pictures. The picture with the glove is an example of the aborting  pin. Thanks

I purchased some shredded beat pulp with molasses to use in my subtract recipe (60% hardwood pellets, 20% Beat pulp, and 20% shredded wheat bran). Has anybody tried it?

Hello ya'll! There has been a lot of talk as of late in different forums and groups about the efficacy and practical use of old study protocols specific to chemical dedikaryotization, so i thought i would share this interesting and easy protocol for isolating two monokaryons from a single dikaryon. I'm not sure how many folks are getting as into the weeds as we are about mating and DNA analysis but this is a pretty cool primer for what is possible. Some practical reasons for needing to preform dedikaryotization is if you are trying to generate a new phenotype from a dikaryon that cannot produce mating pairs within its own spore production (i.e. Shimofuri Hiratake or PE or Enigma, among many others in the gourmet, active and medicinal world). The process of dedikaryotization allows you to pull the mon parents of literally ANY Di and from there perform crosses to continue breeding. Anyways, I hope this is interesting and insightful for ya'll and hopefully in the next couple months we will put together a full deep dive on the matter!

Hey y'all. Our Farm is building a new lab. I would like your recommendations on FFUs. Erik recommended the company Clean Rooms Intl) and said they were around $850. We got an email back from Myers Mushrooms and apparently they're selling those units at retail for $1200. Is that the only way to get them?
We also are considering used ones from a Microprocessor Manufacturer that are selling at similar price. Do you think it would be safe to get a used one if it came from a reliably clean environment? How to know how much life span it has?

Cheaper place to get the American FFU?
New Chinese FFU?
Or used American?

Any thoughts are much appreciated!
