Thank you for the response, I've spent the majority of this week boiling my oats for 30 mins, letting dry over a number of hours, then putting them through two 24 hour cycles of pasteurization.Â
I found that the majority of my bags/jars seem to be holding a more even level of hydration. As far as trich, it's not in all of my jars/blocks/bags but I do see it appear in probably 20% of my agar dishes, and 30% of my spawn. It doesn't seem to appear in the any of the spawn I chose to observe over a number of days rather than inoculate. I've replaced the inline fan than blows from my plenum (my garage smh) into my lab and I hope the 700 cfm increase will give me better results and if it doesn't I think I will replace the hepa filter on my flow hood.Â
If all goes well with this batch of spawn I think I will keep this process but if I could get away with dry bagging it would save a days worth of work. Â
