The cordyceps are the SVP #13 from Ryan Paul Gates. It's wicked quick to grow. I think Khan had them in like under 40 days. I don't sell cultures at all but I could probably send you something. Potency I don't know anything really. I'm awaiting results from a few strains ATM though

GregorOk thanks. Good to know.

For sure. Finding some sweet spots. Have you personally seen anything as far as commercial strains being better or worse in general as far as the quality for tinctures. I don't yet have money or a reason to be testing my stuff although some is being tested ATM by other people it's going to take me wicked long to figure, if anything, an Albino Cordycep is possibly stronger than say the Mound 4. I wonder how far across the board it is as is between strains and like even still they are subject to the environment.

These are pretty old. A 250ml LC jar was inoculated with a couple milliliters of Master syringe. 2 days to settle into the jar and then kept at about 40°. I've noticed only that their height is about 50% of the first time I used them. I assume that this is possibly the strain getting tired but I don't know enough to say that yet. All the same the equally old Mound 4 did just about the same as it did. I'm starting to see the same strains performing different in different grow-vessels and I'm starting to see Variegated Cordys do some very cool stuff after a year. My point is only that I'm starting to log this stuff down to weighing everything down to the cake itself after harvest to see if I can repeat what's already happened as well as possibly figure out if I can rely on my own notes to know which can take storage, best vessel and what yields the best. I hope to make my own "expiration dates" from this and just know what is worth the fridge space and how far I can take various strains. Also switching to oats has been pretty good.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good HEPA filter. Looking to make a 2'x2'. Lots of bad reviews on available Amazon 2'x2'x11.5" filters. Id be going the large box and small blower box type of large flow hood.

At least the first attempts grew something outside. Pretty sure these are little Nebrodini oysters growing off the unsuccessful indoor blocks. Kind of cool all the same. Might throw a block in a mono tub outside soon before it gets warm.

We got 1lb 7oz of Enoki. I feel like I didn't grow them correctly yet here's something so I'm stoked. Any criticism on the Enoki'd be appreciated.

Also for me the Last of the just for fun Cordyceps Militaris harvest as I actually have a really cool/wicked legit company who wants to buy the cordys. I've got almost 100 cordyceps grows ATM. All wicked good LC and the whole round is Albino or an awesome Variegated strain.

David Medlock It's probably a lot more of like test runs. We know they start on a dish. I've read to test dishes let it grow in the dark a couple days and if upon light introduction it either turns orange or not. I could absolutely have gotten that wrong too, I've not yet seen a dish- not turn yellow. Haven't put it on Agar much. There's a Vietnamese woman on usa cordys and she told me to preserve them "put it on jelly" (a cutting from a fruit) I took it as a slant. Cross breading is not my jam so I know Zero. Maybe a slant-test it on plates to LC/grow out small and if it's good go back to the slant. I would imagine it could survive. I have LC jars that still expanded themselves in the fridge but lasted viable since like the past autumn I think. My master syringes definitely last a few months. Sounds like cap n stem is doing some advanced/new stuff. The OM dude said Oats produced the highest quality cordys. I'm experimenting with like all kinds of shit ATM mostly nutrients and different grains.

So Gregor, have you guys been dropping agar into grain bags?  I saw a picture of the capnstem cordyceps bag an it looked like little yellow bits. If so..... incredibly interesting
