I've wanted to do these since I first watched Let's Grow Mushrooms.  I might put it outside if stops raining someday

I've put mine to grains and then I'm going to chop down a Beech tree at my dad's house also hopefully an oak and maple but they like their trees so that's a battle yet to be won.

After that I'm going to cut up logs into one big chunk and 2 plate chunks and sterilize them in big bags.  Then I'm going to put grain spawn all over the log.  Plant that shit near some hardwood trees and hopefully.....

Interesting. I got to talk with a couple people at NH mushrooms briefly and it sounded like they were trying something with "spawn" for Cordyceps. I don't see the need to use spawn because I've really just needed a lot of LC from what I've seen. I've had to come up with ways to get somewhat pasteurized rice in larger vessels/bags but I fucking love small tubs (I've got a lil flow hood) and they are doing amazing. I'd like to see for sure someone using large grain bags though, 6lbs sounds HUGE and scary. All of my Cordyceps are average around 2-5" for real. I've watched them turn themselves around in jars, I think, because of my rooms fan. They love air. Can't wait for that podcast man, Cordyceps are special.

Oh yeah also I got the Nebrodini oyster which you all sent me last month on like a masters mix ATM. It ripped through Sorghum well and appears to enjoy Oak & soy hulls so far any advice for fruiting them.

Hey there, I see a lot of potential in using a bag like what you guys use for your grain spawn. I think the Cordyceps peeps could really get on a bag like that because of the bottom. There's some discussion on the FB pages and there's yet to be a Cordyceps Militaris bag created. Something with just a bit wider of a base/bottom would probably be really awesome.

My question is -are the bags you guys use available to order online and then can the company be sweet talked into making some custom bags. ☮️

Thanks. Right on. They are definitely pretty fascinating to me as well. I just brought a half a pound to NH mushrooms during their event in hopes maybe to grow commercially. A somewhat way out of stone masonry would be sweet. I had an interview for you guys actually but unfortunately currently make too much laying stones to change and or just grow mushrooms (says my girlfriend). I'm working on it though. If you guys here of anything grow-job related to Cordyceps in or around NH I am wicked down 🤘☮️🤘

Thanks. Right on that's good to hear. Yeah I'm fixing to have a perpetual shit-ton of Cordyceps and then buy some blocks to fruit from you guys. Probably like this Thursday start ordering from you guys. Hopefully I can keep it going from that point on.

My insurance for my masonry company was like "mushrooms wtf?".  Seems like they all should be sufficient. Possibly unnecessary for me anyways but seems like a good idea. I've got a chef friend who's into making tinctures and stuff. Anyway, I'll shut up now. Thanks
